At Overgate, we are celebrating Halloween with some ancient Scottish traditions.
The origins of Halloween can be traced back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (summer’s end) and Robert Burns’ 1785 poem ‘Halloween’ lists a lot of the Halloween traditions that are still remembered to this very day.
