If you want to continue to celebrations and get more involved with IWD, check out Dundee Women’s Festival who are hosting two weeks’ worth of activity from 2-16 March. With the theme of ‘Hearing Women’s Voices’ you can join the festival and make your voice heard too at a number of free events across the city. We have picked out a few of our favourites from the jam packed programme.

6th March from 1pm-3pm

Hilltown Community Centre

An opportunity to speak to local organisations and groups on how women can have their voices heard, get involved in their community and lead on projects.

  1. Dundee Women’s Trail

8th March or 15th March from 1pm-2.30pm

Meet outside McManus Galleries

A short-guided walk around the city centre, looking at the Trail plaques and hearing the stories of some notable women in Dundee’s past. Booking for this event is required, contact [email protected]

  1. Digital Play with NEoN

9th March from 10am – 4pm

Central Library

Digital exploration for young mothers and their children. Focused around play, parents and their children will experience digital arts, creative digital expression and exploration of self.
