Overgate will host spooky trick or treat tours this Halloween between 11am – 4pm with an unmissable free event that promises dressing up fun, spooky interactions, ghoulish games and terrifyingly tasty treats for all.

Halloween-themed performers will host the tours on Saturday 28th October. These will run hourly at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm and leave from the event set on the lower mall next to Smiggle.

This spookily decorated Halloween set will also offer face painting, dressing up costumes, props and trick or treat buckets, while many of the retail staff throughout Overgate will be embracing the spirit of the day by dressing up in scary costume.

A number of retailers including Bibble Milkshake, Smiggle, Lush, Frankie & Benny’s, Fuel Juice Bar, The Fragrance Shop, Scentsations, Paperchase, The Perfume Shop, Claire’s, Menkind and Millie’s Cookies will be part of the tour and offering a trick or treat to all, as well as fantastic offers on the day.

These range from free Halloween mask making in Paperchase and free Halloween pencils for any child in fancy dress at Smiggle, to bath time pumpkin making in Lush and ‘kids eat free’ deals at Frankie & Benny’s with an app download, to many added value retail specials across other stores.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Malcolm Angus, Centre Manager of Overgate said: “The final plans are being put in place to guarantee a Halloween to remember in the centre this Saturday and everyone is invited to this free event. We expect the trick or treat tours to be especially popular so would encourage families to come down early and make the most of the spooky fun and atmosphere.”
