The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has been involved in rescuing and Rehoming injured neglected and abused animals since it’s formation in 1839. With 10 animal rescue and Rehoming centres across Scotland plus a dedicated Wildlife Rescue Centre the Scottish SPCA is Scotland’s Animal Welfare Charity.
Our objectives are to prevent cruelty to animals and to promote kindness and humanity in the treatment of animals. Our animal rescue and Rehoming centres provide an excellent service reuniting pets with their owners, rehabilitating injured or abused pets and finding homes for thousands of animals; from rabbits to horses and everything in between!
