Garnier PureActive Sensitive Skincare 28 Day Review

The Garnier PureActive Sensitive Anti-Blemish Skincare range is all the rage at the moment so we decided to team up with local beauty blogger MakeErinOver to find out what all the fuss is about and most of all…do these products actually work?

The range consists of three products to cleanse, tone and moisturise, specifically for skin with blemishes but designed with sensitive skin in mind. The three products in the range are:

  • Soap-free Gel Wash
  • Clarifying Tonic
  • Soothing Moisturiser

All three are hypoallergenic and are said to reduce the appearance of blemishes while keeping the skin feeling soft. So here goes….this is how Erin got on with the 28 day challenge*.

Step 1: The Soap Free Anti Blemish Gel Wash £4.00
I have really loved using the gel wash, it is so refreshing in the morning. It turns white in water, and reminds me somewhat of the Oskia Gel cleaner in the feel. Really nice to remove makeup too!

Step 2: The Anti Blemish Clarifying Tonic £4.00
To me this is the complete star of the show. Just applied onto a cotton pad this will remove all the bad bits, and you can feel it working too. I found it leaves my skin feeling 100% clean, leaving me happy to apply a good layer of moisturiser.

Step 3: The Anti Blemish Soothing Moisturiser £5.00
The final step for me is the most relaxing, especially at bed time. This is moisturising but not slimy, leaving it to soak into my skin (and not taking too long to do so) this really is ideal for in the morning because of this.

So overall I have really enjoyed using this trio for the past 28 days, my skin is feeling and looking much clearer (even if the occasional spot still reappears – but I think I would need a miracle to stop that!)

Personally if you are going to choose one, go for the tonic, it is incredible, and will now remain a firm favourite within my skincare routine!

If you would like to try the range for yourself you can pick the above products up now from Superdrug and Boots within Overgate!
